Davis Triathlon

The second longest triathlon to date: 750yd swim, 18mi bike, 3.5mi run. This one had an especially fun atmosphere being held at Davis and being a collegiate race. Also it was a cool way to end my spring break of looking at colleges. In the race I did strongly on the swim and bike and decent on the run. When all was done I crossed the finish line in 1hr 45min. Now I have a month to rest and train.

Vi-Tri (Visalia Sprint Triathlon)

A triathlon in Visalia? Yes, my hometown. The swim proved to be the toughest due to my tendency to try to inhale water. (I don't know why I try to breath water, it simply does not work) As usual I rode very strongly for 9mi then ran the 2mi equally as hard. I'm not sure what place I came in overall, but I got first in my division! Next week Davis!
