Diabloman Tri 3/8/09

The Diabloman is a sprint triathlon held every year in Walnut Creek. This triathlon is one of the toughest out there despite its distance. The bike and run require 4,000 feet of vertical gain! My very supportive Aunt Marty and Uncle Don Lenzi who live in Lafayette were there to cheer me on and provide transportion to and from the train station. I couldn't have done it without their help.

The unseen triathlon

My second triathlon was down in Redlands, Ca. We didn't get any pictures of that one but to sum it up: it was a sprint, it rained very hard, and I came in sixth in my age division. I was surprised because I didn't realize I could do so well. There were over 400 total entries!
